I`m trying to use my old 8800gs as a CUDA/Physx dedicated GPU, the only problem is my main GPU is a 4870. The CUDA drivers are part of the whole Forceware package and can`t be individually installed. Is there anyway to extract the CUDA driver out of the Forceware package?

Check the new 4850x2 at tigerdirect.com it`s $350, but it outpreforms the GTX 280 and is only a lil slower than the 4870 x2. It`s gotta be probably the the best price to preformance out there, and with your mobo you can crossfire, if you get the Nvidia card you can`t, like me and my 4870/680i combo.

From what I`ve seen with the benches it does get very big dips in FPS, like my 4870 sometimes does.

I`d go for a 4850 or the 9800 GTX+ if you can get it cheap enough. If you have either SLI or Crossfire motherboard I`d take either a pair of 8800gs (1440x900 res or less) or 4670`s respectivley. Either one of those would be a little better than the single cards for about the same price, but why buy the lower end when you could go higher end and Go daul GPU later on.

^^ Wow thats the first inteligent piece of information some one gave this guy. I don`t know if the sadman or whatever was just joking but he was way off. I had the 8500gt ( first card I ever purchased), 8600 gt ( ended up SLI`ing them), and the 8800gs (ended up SLI`ing these as well because the preformance wasn`t much better than the 8600 gt SLI). I know that buying cards can be rough especially Nvidia, there confusing as all hell. Google people don`t listening to some of these people opinions, some one might cuase you to buy a extra fan in your rig.

I just upgraded to Vista 64 since I had 4 gigs of ram and a 512mb video card. I am running 2 separate partitions. One for the OS and the other for Games, Music, and Programs. Should I reinstall all my software on the second partition. Will I have any problem if I don`t, registry aside.
