Well, I'm going to try anyway I think. Like Arthas045 said, I'm buying the game anyway, and I only want to play around with the character creator, I'm not planning on going past that. Thanks for the replies.

It seems this person is playing Battlefield 4 with the same GPU as me but their CPU is better, so now my worries are if launching the game will fry up my laptop.

Any opinions? Pretty please?

I don't plan to actually play the game, I only want to open the character creator and mess around with it while I wait for my desktop pc. What I want to know is if it will let me install the game and open it or will it show some kind of error and won't open at all.

Like I said, I managed to play The Sims 4 just fine and the minimum requirements for video cards is NVIDIA GeForce 6600, Intel GMA X4500 or ATI Radeon X1300.

I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong place, I tried to look for a "can my pc run..." thread but didn't find one.

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me, since I'm a noob when it comes to these things.

Tomorrow Inquisition comes out and I'm desperate to play it but my desktop pc is broken at the moment and I don't know when it will be fixed (it might take another week or two). I have a laptop which I'm currently using but I wouldn't dream to play Inquisition on it because my specs are way below the minimum. But I googled it anyway and found out that many people managed to play recent games with these specs when they weren't supposed to.

I'm not expecting to be able to play the game (even with everything on low), but I'm wondering if it will at least open and let me use the character creator to keep me entertained while I'm waiting for my desktop PC. I played The Sims 4 on this laptop and it ran fine. My question is, will Inquisition even install?

Intel Celeron 1007U 1.50ghz

4 GB RAM

I have 1792MB of graphics memory but only 32MB of dedicated video memory apparently. And when I try to see what my GPU is, it only tells me "Intel HD Graphics". I read that you can increase the VRAM yourself but I wouldn't dare to do it because I'm afraid to screw up. Anyway, will it let me install the game and mess around with the character creator? My problem is if it won't let me even install it.

Here are the minimum specs for the game:

AMD quad core CPU @ 2.5 GHz / Intel quad core CPU @ 2.0 GHz

System RAM: 4 GB

Graphics CARD: AMD Radeon HD 4870 / NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

Graphics Memory: 512 MB
