:lol: personally i dont agree..... the Wii is FUN, the PS3 is Great, the 360 is HaloThe Wii has sold a friggin 54 million units worldwide as of June, and it has the maximum number of software sales recorded of the three current gen home consoles.
By all means, so far as solid facts are concerned, the Wii has won this gen, and done so convincingly.
Sure, go ahead and quote your review scores- you'd be right in claiming that the Wii has by far the worst library of the three (based solely on review scores, not on personal opinion).
However, as far as clear tangible facts go, the Wii has won this gen: maximum hardware sales. Maximum software sales. And the system that spins the most profit.

[quote="Eurogamer"]Germany's movement against violent videogames has lunged forward again, as families affected by the Winnenden school shooting urge people living near Stuttgart to dump their "games that simulate the killing of humans" - "Killerspiele".
The Aktionsbündnis Amoklauf Winnenden will place a container outside the Stuttgart state opera this Saturday in the hope people will heed its call, Eurogamer Germany reports.Hexagon_777
The above is only an excerpt. You can find the full article here.
Dear Lord of Gaming, make it end...
LOL i think the guy with the container will be sitting there a loooooonnnnnnnngggg time......:lol: i think the people who encourage "Non-violent" video games have NEVER played a game in there life....They would have to give it away for free.tehsystemwarior:lol: yeah instead of charging a Arm and a Leg for the other Peripherals:P

Face it. It's for a lot of people who aren't really good at sports. It's like for us, who can't go out slay monsters with swords so we play something like Fable or Final Fantasy. If I wanted to play something related to sports, I'd either go outside or go to the gym when it gets to cold out.
Athletes themselves play these games. Your logic is seriously broken here, because it's like saying the only people who play Rock Band are wannabe musicians. actually i like playing rock band because i want to be a rock star.....:|:(:cry: :P:P:PHey there,
So I've finally decided I want to get a console (former computer "gamer"). The problem I'm having is deciding which system to buy. It's ultimatley going to come down to which games I'll be wanting to play but I have no idea what some of the good games are. I'll be most likely be playing a mix of shooters, rpgs, and racing games, with the focus being mostly on shooters and racing games. What are some good games for each system? Which system would be better for shooters and racing games?I also have a psp so what would I be able to do with a ps3?

well i just tell you what helped me choose....
1. the really good games are usually going to be on both the 360 and the PS3, so games wise they are almost equal imo
2. the PSP has some capability with the PS3 i would look it up....
3. if you like nice graphics i think the PS3 is better some though would disagree....
4. and now the main point....two questions for you.....one do you care about how much you pay and two do you like online gaming?
if you answer no to the above questions then what i have to say doesnt much matter.....
i think XBL is better then PSN but for the price of $5 x 12 months = $60 a year for XBL and if you have your 360 for 5 years that equals $300 the price of the PS3 slim.....
PSN = free
