Got a 360 for Christmas, and Fallout 3. I'm not an RPG fan, and I find Fallout's gunplay (so far) to absolutely abysmal, so I'm looking to buy a new game.

Do not tell me Gears 2 (not enough new content from the first to justify dropping $60), Halo 3, or CoD4.

Also, if it is not a 360 exclusive, I will be buying for PC, so only suggest 360 exclusives please.

I like RTS and FPS a ton, so any suggestions?

I was playing L4D and about 3 seconds into the campaign my mouse quit working. It hasn't worked since.

I've uninstalled drivers, installed older ones, newer ones, reinstalled the same ones... I think I finally nailed the problem though. Usually when I have my razer preferences open, it says Driver Version: 1.08 and Firmware version: 1.25.

It now says "Firmware version: N/A" implying that the firmware just disappeared... I really don't wanna put $50 out for a new mouse, any suggestions?

I know its not exactly hardware, but still...

I leave my computer alone for the 6.5 hour school day, and I come back, and its at 4.16 gb of PF usage. I only have 2 gb of ram. This has only been happening for a week or so. Any ideas as to why or what I can do about it? I don't like rebooting my computer every time I leave it alone for 3 hours.

Note that the PF usage also goes up if I'm using the computer. Right now its at 1.62 gb after 2 hours or so of being on, and normally, what I'm running would only take up about 800 mb to 1 gig.

So I had only looked at it while the computer was off... I just pulled the case off while the computer was on, and the CPU fan was not even moving. The fan power cord was partially disconnected when I installed my new 500 GB hard drive today.

The temps are back down below 55 celsius.

I have an AMD 6000+ if that matters, and about 3 hours ago my computer just shut off. I turned it back on and it shut off again. I took off the side case and felt the CPU/heatsink and it burnt my hand. Now, 3 hours later, I turned it back on.

My CPU is around 57 degrees (Celsius) and the two cores (dunno what exactly that means) are at 60 and 77 degrees.

Is this bad? Should I turn off the computer or have something looked at? Also, earlier, my case fan was not moving, but after the 3 hour wait, I booted up the computer and its working fine.

I'm posting on thecomputer that overheated.

I found the problem... I was changing my playback device, not the recording device. In other words, I hadn't told LIVE I had a mic yet.

I try to send a voice message and it tells me that no Microphone was hooked up. I know for a fact that a mic is hooked up, because it works on xfire, on Teamspeak, Vent, and on the Windows Sound Recorder.

But I can't chat with my xbox live friends!!!

It is the microphone shown here http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Premium-Headset-Noise-Canceling-Microphone/dp/B00009APBV/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1210729572&sr=1-23 if it matters, this mic is NOT a USB mic, but plugs into the pink mic jack.

I thought/was hoping so. That extra money will allow me to get yet another great new game, as we have a ton that just game out (UT3, Crysis, CoD4, SupCom FA, Universe at War, WiC, GoW for PC).

If performance lags, I can simply overclock it!
