Hey folks, laptop gamer here and so far I am pleased with what a 700 dollar laptop can do! Specs are as follows: i5-480M 2.9Ghz 4GB DDR3 GT 540M 1GB Running everything on medium at 1366x768, no AA or any other special effects, getting 25-35 FPS. I have a TV I have also been playing on where I lower the resolution to 1280x720 and turn on 2xMSAA and I receive similar frames!

No it is not that bad, but it is not as good as the first. If you do pick it up, don't forget to turn off your PS3s network connection or this game will freeze!

Hey all, not sure if this should be here or in video hardware section, but considering as I am asking a PC specific question, i figure it should go here. I recently recieved a HD PVR and i have a laptop which a PC game on a fair amount. This laptop has a VGA and HDMI out and I was hoping to hook up my laptop to the PVR to record footage. The PVR can take VGA, component and S-Video in so I have to convert to one of those formats. Trouble is, i have not the slightest idea how. This is just about getting the signal IN to the PVR, I will use my GFs laptop to record on to and then my TV (which the output PVR component cables run to) to actually play the game on. Any tips on how to set this up? It is a laptop and not a gaming one so FRAPS brings this thing to its knees, so programs like fraps are out. Thanks!

Definitely worth it especially if you are a fan of action/military games. It is not the most realistic game around but has a number of elements (like bullet drop) which add a nice touch of realism to the game. I have played this game a ton (on PC granted, just bought my 360 copy though) and would highly recommend. I got mine on Amazon for 29.99 though, so that might be a better deal.

It did not freeze your system. For whatever reason, it took my computer about 20 minutes to note that there was something in the drive. I thought it was the fact that it was trying to get ready to extract a massive file (that is all the installer does), but i may be wrong. Moral here, put the disc in, click on the disc under my computer, make some coffee and breakfast, and you should come back to the extracter if i recall correctly. It just takes a while to get itself together. Hope this works.
