@Pierce_Sparrow: I don't get your first statement. Everyone is making this so political and my entire point isn't even about BLM. It's actually about being able to escape reality for a bit. Isn't that what video games are all about?
I never said I was annoyed about the message. I am simply annoyed that they chose to make that statement every 4 minutes in a video game that I paid for & they chose to make that statement on the platform of a violent video game. Its actually quite ironic.
And yes... I will stop playing COD for a bit because of it. Once the politics are removed from the game I may just play again. I don't think politics from "any" point of view belong in a game.
And don't get me wrong... you seem to think I am taking a political side to BLM and that is simply not the case. I have never taken a side. The human race will not move forward until we are all seen as equals.
@Pierce_Sparrow: Not once did I say that I did not believe in the movement. What I "do not" believe in is a video game splashing the page every match in a video game. BLM is extremely political in nature and doesn't belong there. There is a time and a place for everything. Perhaps this is the right "time" for BLM... but a COD video game is not the "place".
You have proved my point in polarization. As for me holding a firearm in my profile pic, who are you to judge? Do you know me? Perhaps I have supported your freedoms for six tours... Perhaps I just support my right and "everyones" right, regardless of race to carry a firearm in states. Point is... you have absolutely no idea.... and yet you assume.
@aross2004: the fact that I need to see it on my screen every 4 minutes is the same as saying this is a positive movement that we as an organization believe in... and you should too.
And again... I don't judge people who don't support it and I don't judge people who do.
