No matter the disclaimers and the justifications, this game was a disappointment from all the angles. There's no excuse for this. BioWare is not a low-budget game producer, they don't charge "low-budget" prices for their games/DLCs, and they knew what people loved (and hated) about DA:O, so they had the perfect (or at least, the ideal) blueprint to go by. Instead they tossed it out the window because they knew they could - they knew we would buy the game regardless, and there's no price on the qualitative factor - only on the number of games sold - and the games are selling. BioWare, just please remember that you wouldn't be the first, nor would be the last to dwindle away if this is your new M.O. If you mess up Mass Effect 3, that's pretty much it for you... Good luck!

There's nothing I can write that would add to what has already been written, though the only thing that I'm really worried about now is Mass Effect 3 - I hope they won't mess it up. I had so much faith in BioWare before the release of DA2, but now I just don't know anymore. I really liked the changes made in Mass Effect 2, but it seems that BioWare is 100% OK fixing things that aren't even broken - and we all know how the saying goes... and in the process they leave behind the fundamental element of the game. DA2 is OK on its own, but as a sequel, it's many, many steps backwards, and I don't care how they try to defend it now. It's like a slap in the face after they already punched you...

I actually enjoyed the very little I did play - though I stopped playing it until nvidia publishes the new drivers because even with their beta driver (which supposedly makes DA2 playayble on DX11) gives me painfully low FPS - even though my rig is above average. And no way I spent good money on my system so that in 2011 I'm forced to play games with outdated game engines on DX9 settings.
