If you're willing to sacrifice your money to buy a shiny new game from an admittedly greedy corporation that wouldn't piss on a fire to put you out, feel free. And by the way, the ONLY game on that list I care about is Titanfall...which EA did NOT develop. They simply bought out the studio that did. Again, they are the Wal-Mart of video game publishers, they buy companies out and screw them over.

The execs that work at EA have revealed, time and time again, that they are NOT interested in making good games, they are intersted in making MONEY off of games. And they are only TELLING you where the industry is headed because they are trying to get you to buy their products by labeling them as the 'future'. That's called advertising and is a subtle form of mentally conditioning you to buy their product. I understand that a connection is required, but the 'always on' thing is absolutely ridiculous and there's no need for it. The overwhelming majority of people agree with me, so if YOU don't like it, you can feel free to keep pandering to a greedy company that only cares about profit. I'll be spending my money elsewhere, you can keep your ball and string.
@malokevi Please. So in order to enjoy video games I need to have my console always on so the gaming companies can non-stop advertise to me, check on everything I'm doing/playing/watching? Maybe I should bring the console into the bathroom with me too so it can watch me take a shit?

Peter Moore can SUCK it. This article is just an advertisement for EA and what they want you to THINK is the future. And by the way, HIS future is not MY future. My future includes not buying any of his shitty products and watching his company implode from the internal greed that will eventually tear it apart. EA wants to make every game subpar and on an annual basis so you have to buy the same crap over and over every year. EA is like the Wal-Mart of video game companies, trying to buy you out and screw you over any which way they can.
@dbene Nice 'Catcher in the Rye' reference there =) I think the word phony fits him perfectly, the guy doesn't even use his real name, its his Microsoft 'persona'. What a complete and utter tool that guy is. Its nothing personal, they sign his checks so he has to stick with the company line, but I think its pretty comical that this is even 'news'.
@RicanV @no_pants_4_u Lol thanks, its all good =) Overall I'm not sure what to think of the new consoles, to be honest I'm probably going to wait a good 6 months and let the developers get the bugs out and see how the games are. At that point I'm sure the decision will be much easier. That being said, who knows? =)
