@Shika_Stoner Cannot happen. Activision does not own Bungie, its merely a contract with them to produce this set of games in this Destiny series. They will have absolutely no say over the internal working of Bungie the company itself.

The woman simply doesn't understand marketing. If you want to make money, you make what sells. You don't try to force feed your customers some sort of political or cultural statement. Her group focuses on how sexualized females are and how they're always beautiful, etc., but the problem is, so are the males. The males in most of the products today are muscular with square jaws and rugged looks. You don't have male heros that look like Zach Galifianakis. So in reality, video games just stick with the stereotypes regardless of gender, and honestly this is probably what they should do if they want to sell. In general, things that match a stereotype are easier to process than something that doesn't and as a result tend to be more enjoyable. Games are designed to be enjoyable (at least those that want to make money). Don't want to make any money? That's cool, shove whatever agenda you want into your games, just don't be surprised when your customers don't like it and you go out of business.

Hackers have a myriad of ways to steal your password, without even using the game. Everything ranging from keyloggers to fake emails. With the upcoming real money AH there is an even greater push to steal accounts than normal games, so you should be extra careful. The option for additional account security is there with the authenticators. If you don't use it, I don't see how its Blizzard's fault if your account gets stolen. Be proactive people. There really isn't much more Blizzard itself can do.

@mjc0961 That would be because your comment HAD no point other than being paranoid. My point is things don't have to be "evil" to be beneficial to both sides. Also just FYI, your inability to have a discussion without resorting to childish insults removes any credibility in your comments.

It doesn't have to be "evil", and they don't have to do anything sneaky or have a catch. Its actually a common marketing strategy called a loss leader. By offering a product that some people may want at a loss (in this case the minor cost of bandwidth to distribute), they get those individuals that may not have otherwise visited at all to come. While they're there they see for example, oh Mass Effect 3 is on sale today and I kinda wanted to get that so buy it. Furthermore, they get you to sign up for their site, thereby giving them the ability to advertise to you. Its really just a win win for both sides. Free distribution for the kickstarter, and cheap loss leader for EA.

Welcome to the entitlement generation. The kids these days expect everything to go their way, and if they don't they throw a tantrum like a three year old. So what if the ending wasn't what you wanted? Guess what, you can't get everything you want, the world sucks like that. Get over it. I didn't like how the Titanic movie ended. I wanted aliens to appear out of the sky and blow them all up to finish off any survivors. Did I complain and whine about it on the internet and send nasty letters to the producers? No. I moved on to more important things. As should you. Move out of your mom's basement and get a real job, then you'll learn pretty fast that the world does not cater to your every whim.

Congress can't even agree on the color of pens to use at their next meeting, much less a bill like this. My only worry is they might use it as a distraction to ignore more pressing issues.
