@davillain-: I can only speculate but I think that's the plan. At the end you find out just how far-reaching the games are and how the same story is taking place across multiple countries and cultures. It would make sense that he ends up in a different set of games than back where he started. Especially if he's trying to infiltrate them from the inside.
Good news! For people saying it doesn't need a second season, of course it doesn't. But why not? They left it so open-ended, I refuse to believe this wasn't the plan all along. Did they NEED additional Hunger Games books/movies? No. Did they NEED additional Star Wars movies? No. What a silly idea to deprive yourself of potentially great programming just because it isn't "needed".
@Barighm: The vast majority of players were already used to pservers, where the boss fights were in fact more difficult than in *real* classic. If anyone really thinks they were accomplishing anything with world buff exploits and 90% warrior teams, they're kidding themselves.
