The thing is that upgrading to a SSD for the PS3 is totally optional. This is not a SSD that Sony is selling for the PS3, like the title of this article implies. This SSD is for laptops, therefore you can use it for your PS3. At this price it is not cost effective for this kind of application. I don't know what was the point of this article.
