@Dark_sageX: You're confusing this for PS+ or GWG. On The House games are games provided to anyone without any form of subscription, the only catch is that you have to make/have a free account on Origin, EA's game distribution platform on the PC. You add it to your Origin account and it's there until EA goes bankrupt and shuts down Origin.
No hidden fees and no subscriptions. I know, it's EA, I couldn't believe it at first either.
What I'm worried about is whether it's going to be another 5 hour long game like the first one. £50 is a hell of an asking price for 5 hours. Hopefully they'll reveal the length.
@manoogian: Could be a marketing ploy. He says people are heavily pirating his game, possibly to cause people to impulsively go out and buy the game to "support this poor indie developer".
So basically it doesn't matter if they have your address or anything, nah, sweep it under the rug. Considering what Valve is worth, this should NEVER have happened. I like to keep a tight ship when it comes to security, and I could do without companies trying their damnedest to leak my personal information anyway.
Oh wow, more GTA Online stuff! Amazing, can't wait to grind for millions of GTA$ to get a yacht that you can't actually move unless you pay $25k. Cool.
In actual fact, all this does for me personally is add useless content and break mods. How about some single player DLC? Oh wait, you can't do microtransactions on that.
