It's Freedom of choice. Freedom to respect my choice, freedom to respect your choice. Why is everyone always concerned about what others are doing?

I like dark beers, but I never get drunk. 2 or 3 is my limit. I hate being around drunk people. I prefer the herb, and I look forward to a day when it can be as socially accetped as alcohol.

So you think people that get caught with a joint in their pocket is a criminal?

If they are in a location where possession is illegal, then of course by definition they are criminals; that's not hard to see is it?

Crimes cause harm to others, if I want to smoke some grass then who am I harming? We are just talking about liberty and the freedom to do what ever you like. It's simple we don't need big brother telling us what we can or can not put into our own bodies. Whether it be pot or a big mac.

Crime (n) - an act or the commission of an act that is forbidden or the omission of a duty that is commanded by a public law and that makes the offender liable to punishment by that law; especially : a gross violation of law I'm not arguing that pot use is a moral harm, but it certainly is a crime, because crimes are BY DEFINITION acts that are prohibited by law; are you too stoned to grok this? :(

Oh Yeah, I get it now.... you are totally awesome and always right. Because lets face it, we need to lock up those dangerous weed smokers.

But back to the issue here, if you support this bill and the freedom to make your own personal choices please contact your state reps. Norml makes it easy to do so at http://capwiz.com/norml2/issues/alert/?alertid=11280301

I agree, a drunk is never easy to deal with.

Hmmmm........the bill would just make decrimnilize it on a federal level. I would think it would still be up to state and local authorities.....who I'm more worried about.....marcus4hire
Yeah, it would then be up to state law where the voters could decide on the marijuana laws
