I buy consoels for the games but this graphics comparison shows how little differene there is between the consoles. You can tell the difference now but nobody is going to stop in the middle of MW2 online match and stare at the objects seeing if they're better than the other console. I personally own a 360 and I know its flaws, graphis wise as well. What I see through these picctures is a pro and a con to each console. The ps3 has fairly better color contrast and it has much better black levels, but its textures don't look as sharp as the 360. The 360 has higher resloution textures but to make them look good it loose points on the colour contrasts. A good example is the first pic in batman. The Ps3 has pure black for a lot of the picture, this is how the lighting would be. The 360 gives the dark parts a hint of grey so that it can show off the textures. At first glance the ps3 looks better but if you look closelly it is indeed a tie. Thank you for listening. :P

I personally think that this is the order 1st. PC 2nd. 360 3rd.ps3 I'm even thinking that this was a blow away but if you consider the variables (actual picture resolution, your screen's picture resolution different output level etc.) you can never tell until you actually have all of them. One big thing was that the consoles weren't working at full capcity they were going at only 720p

I dunno why people are going to war with video game consoles. i think that it depends on personal desire and preferences. If you want an all-rounder with everything under the hood go 4 ps3. If you want something that does the basic but to near perfection, get the 360. if you want the real next gen gaming go for the Wii. all of the consoles are excellent!
