I'm shocked at how many people percieve Jihad these days as a whole basis of permitted violence tied to the whole religion. Open a history book and do some research before criticizing. Westernly, Jihad appears as the use of holy war which is such a one sided biased opinion that it's ridiculous to follow. The muslim branch, the Shi'a, practice inner struggle with Islam. This meaning the battle between sin and truth. It's easily perceived if you have the right historical source. In some cases it's percieved as a strive for Muslim balance in the community. Long ago, holy war was waged between Muslims and Christians for LAND. Both of them were violent and fought for their religion. Ignoring the fact Christians (Pope Urban the second) brought it upon themselves when they tried for the holy city. Other cases of holy war were involved strictly with expansion. Some Muslims, some Christians, and some of every religion have extremists. Some well known enemies of christianity just get involved more.

The case with the Mosque is a basic opening for people to forgive. Some people are under the impression that all Muslims are dangerous, if people thought that they must of been living under a rock and seem to big headed to hear facts out. Well faith sourced facts for some people...
