If it's got music controls on it, I'd seriously consider upgrading.

@thetravman: Have downloaded the little app that checks to see if you're eligible and if there are any problems between you and updating? I didn't get the upgrade icon on my desktop until I'd run the checker and it said I needed a bunch of Windows 8 updates I'd left uninstalled before I could upgrade.

How does that compare to previous versions at this point in their lives I wonder. I'd guess it's higher, since you could get Windows 10 free.

The Slippery Slope is a logical fallacy, but it's hard not to look at the microtransaction announcement side eyed. If Activision and Bungie stick to their stated guns and just sell cosmetic items, while creating more events and free content off the money microtransactions pull in, then great; I've got no problem with that.

And, if they don't, and the microtransaction spin out of control, or the amount/quality of content in the game takes a hit, then I'll move on from Destiny to other games. There's always something else to play.
