English church is sueing Sony because of the unauthorised use of the Manchesters church interier in one of their games. Which game is that you ask? Dont think too much because logical thinking wont lead us to a logical conclusion. At least not in this case.
This game is Resistance: Fall of Man in which we get to kill nasty aliens in this church.

In the most recent official statement, Sony said: "Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is aware of the concerns expressed by the Bishop of Manchester and the cathedral authorities... and we naturally take the concerns very seriously."
However, Sony believes it has obtained all necessary permission to use the Manchester Cathedral within Resistance: Fall of Man (at least so they say.) "We believe we have sought and received all permissions necessary for the creation of the game," the statement added.
Sony describes the setting of the game as "an alternate and mythical version of Europe in the 1950's, in which the enemy are strange looking alien invaders seeking to destroy humanity," clarifying that "Resistance: Fall of Man is a fantasy science fiction game and is not based on reality."
When speaking to The Times newspaper, a Sony spokeperson said, "It is game-created footage, it is not video or photography.
"It is entertainment, like Doctor Who or any other science fiction. It is not based on reality at all. Throughout the whole process we have sought permission where necessary."
Finally, the firm said it plans to get in touch with the Cathedral authorities on Monday "to understand their concerns in more detail."
