@wtf_666: Why you'd think a game that started development before the Switch even existed would be on it, get a brain.

@Vojtass: Competition has come back in the GPU market, Ryzen will cover CPUs and Vega will cover high end GPUs, Intel will finally be forced to actually improve their next CPU.

@Sammy296: Anywhere that sells GPUs, the board of a GPU is kind of needed if you expect it to work, usually that's what everything else is attached to :P

@Utnayan: No it isn't, not sure how you came to that conclusion, RAM isn't the entire console, especially when you have cartridges that free up a ton of RAM.

@presstart2bgin: You could say that for any console about to launch lol, unless you know of a console that launched with every other game that was just being finished for other consoles.

I think we'll actually see a decent amount of 3rd party games on the Switch, for example NBA 2K18 is already announced, I'm guessing as long as the game isn't pushing the PS4 to it's limits, it won't be very hard to port games like racing, fighting, hell even open world games like GTA V would work on the Switch, when you take everything in to consideration, the Switch is really just slightly less powerful than an X1 while docked., and since it uses cartridges it can actually operate fine with less RAM, not only that, a cartridge can include hardware, the SNES had some games with the SuperFX chip such as Star Fox.

So think of it this way, a lot of data you'd normally have to install, or stream from a disc slowly will instead be almost instantly pulled from the cartridge, if a dev wants to add a little extra power to a game, they can work with Nintendo to add on to the cartridge, I'm sure Nintendo wouldn't mind having what amounts to a new SuperFX chip that allows things like physics to be called from the cartridge instead of wasting console resources.

Point is, we won't fully know what the Switch is capable of at first, because we haven't had a true cartridge based console in a very long time, minus handhelds which are a different beast.

@westsiderz28: The Switch actually isn't that far behind an X1 in terms of power, really they could probably port it at 720p and have it look near identical to the X1 version, obviously it would need a few things slightly dialed back, but the new RE isn't so demanding that the Switch can't handle it, now if we were talking a game like Gears 4, or Uncharted 4, no way Nintendo can make a game look as good as a first party PS4 or X1 games, but a lot of 3rd party games could come to the Switch that really aren't much different than the X1 or PS4.

NBA 2K18 is already announced and looks just like the PS4 and X1 version, so I'm guessing a lot of fighting, racing, and other not so resource intense games will be fine on the Switch.

@Berserk8989: Yes I've seen how bad you guys get ripped off on most components, pretty crazy, I live in Canada where it's usually an extra 20-40 dollars so I know what you mean.

@Barighm: I use an RX 480 (2 actually), it's powerful enough to run this game maxed locked at 60 at 1440p, the 480 and 1060 will run For Honor without issue.

Hell I can run Forza at 4K as well as DOOM in Vulkan mode, most other games at 1440p, and the unoptimized games with no CF support run fine at 1080 or 1440 High settings.

If For Honor got decent Crossfire support I'd run it maxed at 4K.
