In my opinion, you should drop resistance 2 and get Red Faction: Guerrilla and Dead Space. Can't go wrong with a game where you can destroy everything and a game that is scary as hell.
A few games come to mind when recommending PS3 games. If you have a PS3 you must own Metal Gear Solid 4. MGS4 is one of the most epic games I have ever played. The story is amazing, the graphics are stunning, and the gameplay is literally flawless. Pic up MGS4 right now if you do not have it. Another game that comes to mind is Uncharted. Uncharted is a combination between Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones, National Treasure, Prince of Persia with a little tiny bit of Gears of War thrown in there. The game features challenging enemies, fun platforming and stunning graphics. Uncharted is a must, go pick it up now. I could go on forever about what game to get for PS3 but all I can say is if you have a PS3 you must own MGS4, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, and Infamous. Also, Sony offers a lot of great downloadable games such as Rag Doll Kung Fu, Wipeout HD, Pain, High Velocity Bowling, Fat Princess, Battlefield 1943, and so on and so on. The list goes on and on. There are more instant classics coming out later this year and early next year such as Uncharted 2, God of War III, MAG, Gran Turismo 5, and way later on comes Heavy Rain.
