I've had this problem with the GameTap version, too. This is the way I got by the bug:

1) Once you've gotten the berries, before even ATTEMPTING to go up the ladder, first go back to the bridge the stationmaster is at. An in-game scene will occur where he gives you a bottle of wine as thanks for keeping the wine racket a secret.

2) Goup the ladder and get the egg.

3) SAVE YOUR GAME!

4) Do NOT go through the train on the way back to the bandstand, as this caused my game to crash again. Instead, go across the bridge, saving at each scene change until you get to the bandstand.

I haven't had another crash after doing this. Hope it helps!

Theres no nonsense. I guess I should have put "IMO" at the end, so people would realize, it's "in my opinion".

So, let me rephrase:
IMO, Ubisoft games are no good, because most do not appeal to me, besides the few I mentioned.

Stevo_the_gamer

And you are very well entitled to your opinion - however, saying Ubisoft sucks is just flat out wrong. I could say Nintendo sucks as well since none of their games appeal to me save a very select few, and of course you would think that my opinion is either quite biased or flatout incorrect - and in which it you would be correct because Nintendo makes some truly great games; thus, why it would be incorrect to say they suck. Even though one can say it - just remember that's its just a benighted view.

The reality of the matter is that Ubisoft makes some truly critically acclaimed awesome games.

But again, to each his own.

You, sir, have WON the game!

The only ones I can think of are the MYST and URU games, Psychonauts, and The Longest Journey.

Also, LONG LIVE ADVENTURE GAMES!!!!

PROTIP: If you're unhappy with a company,

TELL THE COMPANY.

Why do you think they list contact information on their websites? So that gamers can spam their servers with well-worded, polite hate mail telling what they are doing wrong!

I'm thinking about getting an MP3 player (finally!)and I've narrowed down my options to two players: the Samsung YP-K5 and the SONY NWZ-A810. My only problem is that I am absolutely torn between the two!:?

If anyone's owned or used either of these, please post some input. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! :D

LOL....You know I never see all these threads about all the shoval ware on the Wii but nothing about all the shoval ware that was on the PS2....And if Nintendo wants to open but their game system to any company that wants to make games all the more power to them. A number of small time game programers started with making crap games for the computer.HarlockJC

Well first off, congrates to Nintendo for releasing a decent game for a change(Super Mario Galaxy), and doing what it takes to stay alive in the competition.

However, that is where the Nintendo Seal Of Quality rules go out the window. You see, Nintendohas kicked its loyal past gamers in the balls and told them to hit the curb all for the sake of the green dollar. It all started going downhill after the N64 disaster era in which the loyal hardcore gamers are beingreplaced with preteens and grandma and grandpa. Gone are the days of strong 3rd party support and giving what most gamers want. Instead wehave 85% shoval wear, no common sense on uprading to the future of home entertainment (HD content, online), and missing out on some really good games due to itslimited hardware.Case in point.I visited my brother the other day, and found his Nintendo Wii sitting underhisTV with 2 inches of dust covered on this product. Well I'mupset had the direction they took, so I will just break out the 16-bit era SNES and just reflect on the good 'ol days when quality ment something....

[QUOTE="Zenfoldor"]Yeah, it would still be funner and less repetitve than the other versions of the game, though.tbone29

lol, it wouldnt even be possible on the wii. Even if they downgraded the visuals, the wii version would be completely broken.

That would be true... IF YOU were the one in chare of porting it to the Wii.

But there's one little problem with your arguement; YOU aren't the one in charge of porting it! If Ubisoft decides to port it to the Wii, they'd hire a developer with a high-level understanding of the Wii hardware, NOT YOU.

Lol, you must not be familiar with Ubisoft's track record when it comes to ports.... especially Wii ports.

Yes, but seeing as how the franchise has just gotten on its feet(Assassins' Creed's ending strongly hints at a sequel), it's safe to say that Ubisoft wouldn't make a shoddy port and risk blemishing the franchise this early on; it'd be like the Virtual Boy of software!
