For example if you are building office pc for word and excel etc, you will go for mid intel dual core with only 4gb of stock ram, micro atx mobo, budget nvidia or ati, 300watt psu, two fans and some cheap case, and you're ready to go. EDIT@ also 500gb hdd 5200 rpm and eventualy 32gb ssd for fast system and programs loading.

@mikemaj82 Have balanced it out properly? I recently made a balanced build for around same price for a friend of mine ( that was his budget ) and it's best bang for the buck out there atm.

Well cause gamers build pc's that last long, and offices use their pc for long time too. So what are they expecting? Reality cannot meat market expectations. Market never goes only upwards. Do they not understand that once demand has been covered they should move on to something else for some time till next big upward demand chart line start appearing?

Answering to your question I can play anything I want at any given time regardless of graphics. Most of the time I play indie anyway these days since aaa games became so self indulged and dumped down that there is nothing really to play there, just looks nice.
