we've all heard that the xboxone games will be tied to the users account and in order to play used games we will have to pay a fee to unlock the games. what about the consoles??? will the user accounts (or profiles) be tied to the console???
if that was to happen we wouldn't be able to sell the consoles. 2 years later when a slim version of the console is released, you can't just sell the old lump of an xboxone and get the new version because your account and games are tied to that console. unless you pay a fee. and ms say the xboxone will have an internal hdd so you cant just remove it and attach it to the new console.
@WantYouBad raging fanboy lol. when i watch a reveal of a GAMING console i expect to see plenty of games. anything game related were just trailer and no actual gameplay footage. bit sad really :(
and i thought that nothing could be more disappointing than the ps4 reveal. i watched the reveal to see the future of gaming and all i seen was the future of tv.
as a fan of the first couple of games, i cant stomach ac anymore. revelations was boring and felt like an expansion for ac2. by ac3 i wasnt even bothered borrowing it off my brother. i think im done with the series especially if used games are gonna be blocked next gen. i wouldnt be willing to fork out full price for a repetitive ac game with no replay value.
@saleama jesus sorry, i didnt know i was dealing with a immature 12 year old. with all the trouble consumers had with the 360 its gonna turn a lot of people away from micosofts next console so its not a good business decision. it might be working for the moment but it will do damage over time. and still you fail to compare microsoft and mcdonnels to each other. if you weren't so snappy and politely commented in the first place i wouldn't have called you a fucking tool. and i have the right to bad mouth the company that sold me and everyone i know a product that keeps breaking down. i owe nothing to microsoft. if anyone would understand that it would be you after going through 6 console in one generation. and you snapped at me saying 'and yet, you still went a bought another 360 as did everyone you know' as if i was a fool to buy another console and yet you bought 6 consoles. what other choice did i have???
@Hrodwulf666 ya fingers crossed, hopefully you wont have to buy another one. i have all the consoles since i was a kid in the boxes with manuals and all still running 110%. xbox360 is the only one i had any trouble with. and i keep everything in immaculate condition.
i had no problems with controllers but battery packs and headset are a nightmare. iv went through about 4 of each. if my console broke down again it would be shame to sell all the games. you would lose more selling all the games than just buying a new console. so ya you are trapped :(
@saleama i had my first console for 5 years and have invested thousands into it and had 110 games. i was hardly gonna sell them all, i would have only got a fraction of the price for them so buying another console was the best option, if i had only a couple of games i would have just stuck to my ps3. im on my second xbox360 now and its ok so far.
how can you compare microsoft selling faulty consoles to mcdonnels selling fatty foods??? you fucking tool. when you buy a console in this day and age when technology is so advanced you dont expect it to keep braking down. and if selling faulty consoles to consumer is a good business decision then your brain dead. you just wrote a comment saying you went through 6 xbox360's. needless to say that i wont be buying the new console
@UntraceableHaze i got 5 years out of my 1st console, i consider myself lucky to get 5 years outta it after playing it non stop. my snes and megadrive is still going strong after about 20 years :)
