But it's done, so why not put it out? That's all I'm saying. What doesn't make sense about that? Don't want it, don't buy/download it. Why do you even care? Pretend it doesn't exist and move on with your life.

@UltimateBastard: So? Just because there are others, if someone makes their own mod (be it someone in their basement or Bethesda), why not put it out there? Should everyone just give up and say, well I can't beat that, guess I'll throw this away? It's free, it's optional, it doesn't take away from existing mods. Why the hell not let people have the option? I thought that's what the PC community was all about.

@txuzai: It's a free update for PC users, so the real question is: why not?

Going from 32-bit to 64-bit is reason enough for me.

Your defense about not mentioning Microsoft here is also the perfect response to your original complaint. Your answer lies within, grasshopper. But that still goes right over your head. I didn't find it misleading. It was in the middle of the VR section, so I knew that's why it was there. Another VR "experience". Honestly, I figured it would also be available for Oculus and/or Vive.

Edit: Before you put any words in my mouth, I didn't say Microsoft's conference was misleading either. I only find it misleading when they actually use the word "exclusive" on games that aren't exclusive. They didn't do that this year that I know of.

I think we can all agree this was the worst conference of the year. I'm looking forward to Zelda, but that whole show was agonizing to watch.
