I think what Gamespot should do to make this a fair comparison is ask the developers which system the game was designed for. In the case of Fallout 3 it was the 360. Find some games that were built using a PS3 engine and then do some comparisons for those as well. I personally think that both systems look the same.
I feel sorry for Oden, they made him look super fugly. So far it looks like a tie between 2K9 and Live 09, with every player in NBA 09 looking like an alien.
Pretty good rundown but the story is much more complex than that. I am thinking about repurchasing the first three games so I can play through them again. Well I never played the first one, so that would be a new experience for me.
Halo 3 is great, but I still think Bungie and M$ set the bar too high with the crazy marketing campaign. With all the hype and buzz of a FPS revolution, this game must be considered a letdown.
I played and beat the game in one day and I have to say that I was a little let down, other than the graphics overhaul there was not much to talk about. I got the feeling that we have pretty much done all this before, did anyone else feel that way in the last level when you are driving a warthog off the self destructing halo? Shades of the first halo anyone? The multi-player is awesome but the story I felt kinda blew. It really felt like a graphical update to halo 2. I think the Gamespot staff over inflated the review score due to the hype of this game; I give it an 8 out 10, fun to play, but we've done it all before. Gears and Bioshock are next gen, this feels pretty old.
