was wondering the best way to store my game saves i currently have them on my unit but my hard drive is filling up and i am not playing most of these games

now i was told that you can transfer the data via a usb drive to your computer but a friend of mine did that and when he went to put one of his saves back on the ps3 it told him that the data was corrupted i dont know if anything happened between but none of his games can be put back onto his ps3 and i really dont want to loose my save data

so i am just looking for advice as to how i can save my game data is there a special way of doing it? things i need to be aware of?

i still have mine it was given to me by my uncle when he upgraded to a nes :D

its funny it has become like a family heirloom it was past down to me and i have past it down to my son he loves it it comes in the old plastic atari brief case all my friends laugh when my son plays he thinks its just the best

just wait till i update him to the nes:)
