I can understand that they would discount games that people already own those games on Wii, but why would they still charge people and not allow people who already own the games download them for free?

That is one of the dumbest thing ever. If they don't do that in Japan, they shouldn't do that in America, either. There is absolutely no ands, ifs, buts, excuses, or exceptions about it.

I would rather buy my games from a store than have it digital. Digital sucks! You have to download a game which uses up a ton of bandwidth and it takes up space on your hard drive! Unlike a store-bought game on disc where you just put in the disc and play without worrying about downloading or hard drive space (unless it's a PC game).
