For the snowflakes crying about the story, it's their story that they created. They can take it wherever they want. Stop whining and buy it if you want to but ffs stop complaining.
Such a terribly and narrow mindset ... the game is for us to buy and enjoy ... if people doesn't appreciate elements from the story because it follows a political propaganda (personally, i haven't seen the spoilers, so i don't know what to expect ... but i'm getting scared because it looks bad from the reactions), then they are right to complain about it.
This sort of things have no place in video games, is like in Super Mario we had to deal with LGTB propaganda.
I really think this games has a ton of potential ... and i hope they can tweak the game enough to make it an enjoyable experience ... another thing i hope they can address in the near future is to have characters from the movies ... not saying they should buy Arnold's image, but maybe get a character named Dutch with special abilities so you could have a blast playing with the original squad ... no doubt the idea has potential ... but there is a lot to tweak.
I'm loving Skylines ... But the game is hard as hell and I wish the PS4 UI were better ... Been watching some videos and the PC version plays a lot better ... Regardless, I've been playing it for so many hours by now ... Hopefully i will be passing the initial states since I always quite due to something going horribly wrong on my little towns 😅
Actually I remember there was a rumour about this Sheik game ... Many thought (or wish to be fair) it was going to be announced around 2009 or 2010 ... It supposed to be a God of War answer in the action genre ... Sad it never saw the light and even sadder perhaps that the game did exist at one point.
10/10s are only meaningful if they're rare. It seems like you're just letting fanboys/fangirls review their dream game and allowing that to enter into the ranks of the perfect scores. When the past month or so have resulted in 3 perfect scores, and over games that have dubious merits, there is something seriously wrong with your reviewing system, and nobody will take them seriously anymore.
Credibly reviewers are long gone from the site, GS doesn't care at all about their score system anymore, they'll do anything to a) keep corporations happy. b) keeping the Fortnite demographic happy.
Remember when GS valued his scores above everything else ??? (hell, Jeff was fired over defending his review) ... nowdays it seems a bunch of so called "modern gamers" who have no clue about video games to began with are running the site, no wonder all the credible crew is long gone ... from Kevin Van Ord (who also got his fair sheer of controversies) to Greg Kasavin, Alex Navarro and of course Jeff ... and damn, even those who weren't deeply involved into reviews are gone since they knew the site was going down ... fast, Mary Kish, Peter Brown, Danny Dwyer , they all knew it was time to jump ship and this review is the proof of this.
@decadentdescent: I just came from RE2 on the holidays ... i'm not feeling the RE3 hype as of now, specially since i always thought it was not as good as RE2.
Oh damn ... so from a packed early 2020 with Last of Us 2, FFVII Remake and Cyberpunk 2077 we got nothing ... oh well, is not too bad since i know a little bit of extra time is always welcomed for developers.
And now it seems i will be having some extra cash for other games like Three Houses, etc, so while i'm disappointed is not the end of the world.
