Manning is the best quaterback overall but in the clutch you have to go with Brady. Manning was second fastest to 35, 000 yards which he accomplished in 125 games only Dan Marino was faster accomplishing it in 124 games which puts Manning on course to rack up Marino like passing yards if he plays long enough and he's now got a ring on top of it all. For these reasons I have to consider Manning number one with Brady a close second those guys are in a class of their own in the NFL today.
You got to feel bad for Marty Scottenheimer. The man is cursed. The Chargers dominated the whole game and some how still lost, that game just made no sense. The turning point in the game was the INT and fumble on 4th and 3, the guy just had to knock the pass down and the chargers would have taken over with 8 minutes left up 21-13 and the way LT was playing the game would have been over there. Instead the guy tries to be a hero, fumbles and the Patriots tie the game. Even after the Patriots took the lead the Chargers had a chance to tie and Phillip Rivers did everything you could have asked any QB in History to do in that situation and then they miss the field goal. The result of the game still hasn't sunk in and I find myself wondering, how did they lose that game? and i'm not even a Charger fan. Chargers fans you have my condolences it must be like 2003 NFC Divisional Rams vs. Panthers game at least similar in shock value.
