i just recently bought my psp. i had the same dilemma as you did. i have rather large hands. i've used both a psp slim and an old fatty. i bought a used fatty (can't find new ones) simply because i like the design better (and i was short on cash when i purchased it haha). There is a slight difference in load times between the two, but it really isnt that big of a deal. I like the bigger design because it fits my hands better and is much more confortable. Also, I like the design of the game slot much better as well. The slim you have to be very careful when swappin games because you just kinda set the games in it and can't be too sure if its in properly or not. The old psp has a pop-out slot where u stick the game in and shut the slot and you know ur good. Just a personal preference of mine. So if this message was coherent in the least bit, I reccomend the fat one to you because of the problems you mentioned.

i've just recently gotten back into game. man i'm so out of the loop lol. but on topic:

i just bought my psp literally 4 days ago. mainly for crisis core, but like, i don't understand why the psp gets so much hate. even gaming stores don't have any good games in stock and the ones they do have are just stuck in the corner and neglected. but so far the must haves that i've found would be: Crisis Core:ffvii, Patapon, and Loco Roco.

im gonna go with assassins creed because the FPS category is already taken. We need something new and exciting. FPSs are already good enough for right now and we need devs to get more stuff out there. In a sense, leave shooters to Epic, Bungie, and Activision.

Its good that they are getting rid of the components in the reviews, but changing to a .5 system is a bit lazy don't ya' think? There are either going to be a lot of 9.5/10 rated games because there is no longer a game going to get a 9.9, or an almost perfect score but something just messed it up. Or if someone is comparing games and one would normally be an 8.9 opposed to something that would normally be an 8.4 (granted I don't know ANYONE who trusts reviews enough to decide whether or not to get a game, but this is just for an example). Thats the only problem I have with this. But hopefully getting rid of the review components will give games more honest reviews.

1. Super Mario Brothers (NES)

2. Warcraft III (PC)

3. TES: Morrowind (PC) & LoZ: Ocarina of Time (N64)

Short on time, will edit this post later with my reasoning!

Pokemon Battle Revolution is the first online for the states. There is supposedly a game coming out the day before thats an MMO but I don't remember the name of it and there isnt any news on it so I doubt its going to happen. And no NES games were online so the VC will not sell any online NES games as they do not exist (unless some sort of online highscore board is added to some games). If $5 is a rip-off to you then don't buy them.

[QUOTE="TheCrazed420"]Games will still look great on an SDTV.AdolChristin

What's SDTV?

Standard Definition Television

But ya, go ahead and go next-gen. One of my friends has a mega old tv and his 360 still looks pretty good on it. Granted, you won't get the quality that you would normally get from HD but it would still be good. Although, some games (such as Gears of War) that are very detailed will be hard to make out exactly what is going on at times. IMO, go for next-gen (current-gen now, but w/e), considering past-gen production is pretty much stopping.
