I'm going with the upgrade, no a high end upgrade, well high end on directx 9, i'm going ot hold off on vista, but be ready for it here is what i'm getting if you could tell me if all parts are compatable that would help greatly.

I have a hard-drive already from old computer, 1024x768 monitor, speakers, keyboard+mouse, cd-rw and dvd drive..Am i missing anything?

I'm not really the graphics whore so high directx9 games should suite me for a year or two,

This is set for starcraft and call of duty 4 i'm hoping, with medium-low setting on games like crysis..

I'm hoping once directx10 becomes standard i can easily just get vista and a direct10 card like 8800 when it gets cheap.

Hello, might as well get to the chase.

I have a few friends over 3 (so for people together all together) and we want to play xbox live. We just typed in a 48 hour membership my friend recieved with purchase of halo 3. Does halo 3 allow you to play with extra friends? because we can have one person sign in and play but hwen we try and get 3 guest to play it said membership invalid.

Please help.
