Back when I was younger there was a game called Starflight. It was a pretty large exploration game but based around a starship. It was old school but I really loved it. To this day, I've been hoping for a modern day replacement. I even attempted to have it made but the costs ended up being too high.
So at first, I was thinking this game would be it or close to it. Except no starship, instead you are a solo pilot. Seems a bit silly. Here are my concerns.
1. High chance of finding intelligent life. Then why and how are there starships and space stations?
2. The space cop things that pop up to stop you from going kill crazy. Huh? That seems silly.
3. What is the plot of this game? Is it a RPG? A MMO? What? Just fly around and explore?
This game just seems like it might get a nice rush of players but within a week or two people will be bashing it for what most people are already calling. A failure. Good attempt though and I really hope I'm wrong.
I have been able to play this game on max settings with no major issues. But today, I started an invasion on a area and when the battle loaded up.. everyone was over water! Water? Ha. We were all infantry! This started happening after I got the patch. Maybe I installed it wrong, I don't know.
Lots of kids and immature people responding to this issue. He clearly said something that was offensive. Its a hate word and its confusing after reading some of the comments how anyone could think otherwise.. At my job, you could get fired for saying this to someone. As I'm sure in many work places. Its unprofessional and it should be addressed. Outside of that, I don't think we as consumers, should support a person like this. If he said this, and works in the industry, who knows what else he is capable of saying.
