@olddadgamer: I agree with you in principal. We shouldn't automatically disbelieve a good review because of ad revenue from a company.
But we cannot say that fear of having ad revenue revoked doesn't play a part in how reviews are toned, especially when the creator is responsible for a big portion of ads.
@bababooey12: Thanks for that insight. I'm looking forward to playing the beta starting tomorrow. I hope i come away with the same impression that you did.
@bababooey12: it’s not the release frequency I have a problem with. It’s the look and art direction. WW2 games look a lot like WWI games. I would have preferred they throw and modern game in between them.
@kelvinawai: If you can take a cyborg guy in a WW2 game, you take it cyborg women. My beef isn't with the women, its with the idea of cyborgs (gender indiscriminate). Also, I don't want to see another historical BF game right after BF1. What were they thinking?
You guys are trying to popularize the purchasing of skins and other crap. I guess I can't get too mad at Fortnite because it is a free to play game, but habits originating from one thing carry over to another. Fortnite's success of selling crap is going to encourage other devs to put a greater focus on selling crap.
@Gaming-Planet: Don't you know, they always kill the black dude off first? Well, at least they used to. Actually they might keep him alive. I hope that allows him to get another paycheck or two.
