[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]I wonder which console the TC chose, he left everyone in suspense. I'm literally on the edge of my seat here and I can't take it any longer.e575
I chose to wait a little. I meant "today" in general "what if you were" terms. Like, i could buy an xbox for its bigger library or a PS3 for what it will some day be capable of... and a lot of people bought their 360s a while ago so they've got money invested in them, so on and so forth. It was just a generalized, what would you buy if you were to buy it today. I can only afford 1 system, the rest of my money in electronics goes to the PC every few years department. It's a tough choice - no one knows just how much better PS3's graphics will get, if more can be squeezed out of the 360, if 360 will continue to have better ports, etc. Either way I'll be left out on some games. Price difference is not so much, anymore. I'll take one other person's advice and get the HDTV, first - at least they can be used as computer monitors, nowadays.

I had a really insightful post, but accidentally refreshed. Ultimately, the PS3 and 360 share wayyy too many games (Tekken, Mass Effect 2, BioShock 2, Alan Wake, Fallout, RE5, GTA IV). It ultimately comes down to potentials.... 1) Do you want the full entertainment experience? Web browsing, Blu Ray, Motion Controller, 10 year lifespan (supposedly). Or the gaming/media experience: NetFlix, Xbox Live (100x better than PSN - Home is horrible right now), DLC, NXE. I dont think the 360 has maxed out, Microsoft recently said that they have games that will compete with Killzone 2, although the Tekken 6 devs said theyre having difficulties with the port from the PS3 to 360. Sony has shown their hand with games like MAG, God of War III, and the new Ratchet and Clank this year....Microsoft has yet to...which is something to think about. I think the PS3 has potential, but I am not a fan of Killzone and Metal Gear to be COMPLETELY honest...I love Little Big Planet. The 360 is a great console for GAMES; Mass Effect is a classic, not a fan of Gears, but Halo is amazing. I'm rambling, and probably just making your thought process more difficult...but just watch out: - The Ps3 price drop may be coming soon. - Microsoft may be removing the Elite, so if you want the nice HDD the time is now. - Sony cant dish out the cash like MS can for exclusives.

This years wasnt too bad...MAG looked okay, but I would have liked a WoW type game and not army related.

GoW looked good...nice to see a game we can look foward to other than KZ2, and R2.

I enjoyed seeing a Ratchet and Clank game...but other than that - I was disapointed that Little Big Planet, Resident Evil 5, and Home werent shown more. I was also disapointed that the supposed Jak and Daxter game wasnt revealed, or Tekken 6 wasnt shown. I was also hoping for a KH: BBS showing for PSP - but that didnt happen. It was just a 'meh' E3 overall.

Agreed with, almost, everyone here.

It was extremely weak this year. Nintendo has completely moved away from the hardcore gamers this year, by only offering gimmicky and casual games for ages Pre-K through 6, and families. All the games annouced were a let down too: Animal Crossing was cool, but where are the original, new titles? All the tittles they showed looked horrible, and was nothing like GoW for the 360 or God of War with the PS3...Its going to suck to be a Wii owner this year. Nintendo dropped the ball...on their own feet.
