Its cool to hate on MLG, same way its cool to hate CoD and Justin Bieber. Being apart of MLG is no different then professional sports or anything. Kids call them "Try hards" but that is the dumbest statement ever. Trying Hard at something you enjoy is normal. I "Try Hard" at my job for years hence why im in a Lead IT security position at my job. I tried hard and it paid off. Try hard at an game/hobby/work is all the same. Trying hard should not seen as a negative thing. MLG is full of people that "try hard" at a video game and its nothing wrong with that.
I'm sensing another Video game crash, like in 1983. Nothing is going to stop use game sells. I been ranting about used games for a long time but it wont stop me from buying a game for 15-20 dollars less. With gas nearly 4.50 and basic food cost as high as it is. People barely have money for used games, new games are outrageous. I understand used game sells hurt them but at the same time, we are told by EVERYONE, we have to save, spend smart and make ends meet. Its only so far you can stretch a dollar before it breaks.
funny when ppl say you need a mega computer and this and that. lol clearly they dont play games on their PC. i have 2 PCs one with 2gig memory and some ATI 1gig video card that supports AA4 for like 80 dollars; and a high end one with 8gig memory 64bit 3.6 $250 ATI card. My weaker PC can run this game on full settings but on AA2.
PC always look better, and always will. To all the people saying they look the same, clean your glasses and look at the last picture on the 2nd page. its NO WAY PC is on the same level as xbox and ps3. PC > All mwhaha
game addiction is pretty crappy, back during highschool and even start of college i played games way to much mostly FFXI to the point where i'd be on around 60 hours a week. i wouldnt care about any home work or anything. Only thing i cared about was my "in-game relationship, and my Clan i was ahead of" i had a GF in the game and she drove me away from FFXI so we could be together in real life but since i played so much games, i only went to other games and the relationship ended. After that i cut back on games ALOT and now i found a job and plan on moving out to be on me own by the end of this year. i played FFXI for 6 years for an avg of 50-60 hours a week. I still play games but only to about 10 hours a week. It took me losing someone i greatly cared about to show me how bad my game addiction was. I wish i could make up for the lost time but that's life.
