Yeah I'm starting to think that they were suppose to say something about the surprise before they revealed the new map packs. Then the map pack was the new surprise.
The new map pack does look amazing, it'll be so much fun to play and with the whole flood thing just adds to it.I don't think it will be free, but hopefully cheap.
I also have no idea what else they could announce more about Gears 2, another add-on besides a map pack?
When I bought my nephew a 360 I saw $199, not $199+$11 for a battery pack+$50 for XBL, just $199. I payed $199 for and I have the receipt. I don't see anything anywhere where it says I payed $610.
It's funny how these threads have risen again after the November NPD....

I have to actually agree here. The stuff that he has listed before this are "add-ons" and their not necessary well at least for some people. People really never "need" them rather than wanting them very much. Also some of the stuff like this that the PS3 includes, is it as good as what you pay for? Or did they just give it a crappy feeling and charge nothing?
i don't see how 360 has better games....yay go gears of war 2! what else?
360 has 16 AAA and 111 AA games on Gamerankings, PS3 has 10 AAA games and 68 AA games (excuse my counting, may be a little inaccurate)
Maybe because the 360 was out before the PS3, and that gives them more time to make more games. Now if they came out on the same time then this would be a good argument, but they didn't so this argument failed.
What about the fact that you need an HDTV to use Blu-ray in its best quality. Why do people like you come here to make a system look bad, what are you gaining from this nothing so leave it alone. theMarshell
People above you talked about the HDTV, and people come here to make other systems look bad because thats what this section is for basically. It's called SYSTEM WARS, it's for people who don't like the other systems. Ever think of that?
