A couple weeks ago I bought the asus from bestbuy, I then turned around and took it back a week later and got the gateway. I thought I could live with the smaller screen and the childish graphics on the chassis as well as the lower performance but it turned out I was wrong. I picked up the gateway this past friday and was a bit curious when I turned it on, even though it was only supposed to be a 1440x900 display it turns out that gateway messed up and made a bunch with the 1920x1200 resolution (word of mouth). If you are going to get one of the two go for the gateway, it is a much better system and you will have the possibility of getting one of those factory freaks with the full HD resolution.
