Haha, sorry for the late reply. I found this tool useful in Fallout: New Vegas after I upgraded my system. The game looked really weird at 100fps, so I locked it at 30 to make it feel more cinematic. Just saying.
Awww, jeez. i just dusted my computer (involving removal of cpu and gpu fan), and when i put it back together my pc booted, displayed an image, but 5 seconds later made a horrendous buzzing sound, and powered off. when i was lucky enough to access the bios, i saw cpu temps rising rapidly from 88*C all the way up to 92-or so before the computer powered down by itself. So.. what pins, exactly, was TurtleMilk saying were the problem? surely an in-secure push pin wouldn't keep a PC from exceeding 80 degrees Celsius on a boot. Any help is appreciated.
well first off, "ouch!" - i really love stalker's iron sights, and seeing how realistic the game comes off, i don't see any reason not to use them. and next i just wanted to express my opinion (that some games incorporate ironsights better than others) by listing off some games i've played in the order that i feel benefited the most from iron sights: 1. Call of Duty series 2. Red Orchestra/Insurgency 3. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 4. America's Army --- getting worse now --- 5. Brother's In Arms series 6. Battlefield 2 7. MoH:A 8. DoD:S 9. Bioshock *Again, this is not a list judging the games themselves - just their implementation of iron sights. I may have missed a couple that i would have wanted to include, but overall i believe that adding iron sights at worst adds more depth to a game (like Bioshock, lol).
