The thread titlte said nothing of a games achievements. You simply stated Super Mario Brothers is the best franchise ever to which I do not agree at all. I had lost all interest by Super Mario 3 honestly. The fact of the matter is Nintendo has leaned on that fat little plumber for decades so it is a little unfair to ask us to compare it to another franchise. I cannot think of a single character in gaming who has been recycled as often as that poor fella has been. Super mario sports or super mario puzzle games or RPGS and platformers. I am still waiting on the Super Mario FPS or RTS and he will have been in every genre out there. I think Mario gets a pass because it is mario, I tried the SMG and Sunshine, had these games been any other character flop would be guranteed. I am not a nostalgic gamer in the slightest and never have been, I am the gamer that cares nothing about backwards compatibility I would however trade 1000 Marios for one Kratos any day of the week.
