My Xbox 360 just got the RROD while playing The Orange Box. I have had this 360 since launch. I waited in line for hours at Best Buy in Boston to pick one up. Now after two years I finally get the RROD. Now I don't know what to do. Should I call MS and see if they will replace it for me or should I go to Best Buy and get a new one since I bought the product replacement plan. Any suggestions on how I can deal with this painful loss?
First I would call them and make sure you figure out what all you need to bring in. But when I had to return mine, I just brought the console in and I left with just a console. So you may get one of the new premiums. Just call and ask.
And actually PRP stands for Product Replacement Plan.

Did they give you a new console or a used one from the back?
I bought the 2 year warranty for my 360 back in January of last year when I bought it. Now my Xbox 360's back USB isn't working and my disc drive gets jammed constantly. I was wondering if I go to Best Buy can I get a new premium 360 with the HMDI or will I get one of the old ones without the HDMI? Also when I go to get it replaced do I just go up and pick one off the shelf?

Of course you'll playe it on pc. After all you did pay 1000$+ for that system, why would you play the game on a 600$ system. It would be sad if your pc version isn't superior (which still could be possible).
I didn't pay 1000$ for my pc :P and u have to be kidding me look at my pc Specs that stomps the ps3 in many way possibles.. :lol:.
