So EA and Bioware make a writer make a crappy book in an obvious cash grab. Then gamers whine about it like the self-entitled pricks we are, and somewhere in there dump on homosexuality and skipping the boring parts of games. Then the writer stays classy and insults the gamers, likely people who bought the book themselves. Gotta love the gaming industry. I miss the last gen, the people were better then.

So publishers like EA and Ubisoft suck. We've gone over this about 10 million times.

@QOSMSTR Letting companies who support ideas that would essential kill gamestop and the gaming industry as a whole (see Volition's anti used games idea) continue to exist and help move forward things like that will hurt the gaming industry. Volition and THQ with online passes, DRM, and holding most of the game back for DLC being out of the industry would be a good thing. There's a reason they're failing already, some people don't like what they're doing. Look at the PSPGO as a reference, see how well that did.

Can't say I care, after Volition's little stunt about banning all used games. Not to mention the fact that Red Faction and Saint's Row have been made into completely immature garbage, I couldn't care less if they go under. It'd be better for the industry if companies who support developers like Volition go under.

This would not be so much of a problem if everybody had millions of dollars of disposable income to throw away. Games costing 60 dollars, (which will likely become 70 or 80 in the next generation BTW), are not to be bought on a whim, games you don't even know if you like. Spending 60 dollars on any game that is below an 8 is bad, anything below a 7 is inexcusable. Don't think those people are your friends. Show them they need to make better games that are worth 60 bucks, or lower their prices. Show them by not buying crap like Duke Nukem' Forever. Games like that aren't deserving of a 60 dollar purchase. Or you could just keep buying overpriced garbage. And they'll keep pumping out overpriced garbage.

Don't worry. There's no way this will get passed. There would be overwhelming rage over this essential destruction of the internet, and people would be incredibly angry at the politicians. And politicians have to worry about re-election soon. Having 2 million pissed-off ex-interneters all voting against you is not something politicians want. However it's still stupid how we have to worry about our government wanting to pass this. It just shows that it's not really for all the people, just the rich.
