if you have internet for your 360 and you get the new dashbord update that will take a few minutes to download and install can take about 15 minutes thats normal
after that you will go to your My games or info section just look to the top left and have a game in your system you will see a pic or the name of that game in your system if u look at the bottom of the box trhing there you will see a small yellow icon you press that on your controller and a new screen will come up asking if you want to install the gamenow you MUST HAVE A HARDDRIVE to install games and games are diffrent sizes very rarly do they go over 6.8 gigs and it takes about oh 4 to 6 minutes to install i hope this helps you
OK you don't pay to download demos there free all demos on live-market place are free If you have a gold membership you get access to some game demos before
silver members you can buy Live games on the market place but before you do that you can always play the game as a demo first if you like it then you can buy it
as for buying the x-box live membership for a year its a good thing as the on-line is very good also with the membership you get new features
with the new dashboard as party chat while playing a game and other stuff if you can afford it by all means get it i was lucky to have had a Friend buy it for me
cause for me its a bit expensive so that kicked butt i hope this kinda helps you also after your membership of gold expires it will revert back to silver
ok this is kinda easy and no prob with halo as i dont really like that game kinda over hyped to me anyway
fallout 3, fable 2 gears of war 2, (deadspace kickass game lots of fun), banjo kazooie nuts and bolts, oblivion,(silent hill home comming very hard keep an eye on your health potions) , there are othersbut right now i can only think of these for now
if and when u buy a 360 system MAKE SHURE IT WAS MADE IN THE 2008 year its easy to find on the back a modle made in 2008 has a less chance of getting red ring of death then the 2007 or early modles do that i have found anyway hope thats of help to you also it does not hurt to get the extra warrenty for a year if you buy it at eb games or gamestop you can find the year your system was made on the back it is a while sticker should be on the back right side of your system
i was lucky that i had a freind on xboxlive buy me a year subscription as well as a 120 gig harddrive for xmas witch was really cool but before that i would buy gta4 and it had a month time card in it and you had to use it before the date on the back of that card also i had to get a new xbox from microsoft cause of the red ring of death and they gave me a time card for 1 month of live and yes it had a use by date on the back but in veerrrrry small print so look at the time card cause i found it with very small print it was good for a think 1 year if i remeber it right
