Don't know if I should cancel my amazon preorder from June 2016 with a price of $47 to get the special edition. But I really don't want to buy from GameStop or Best Buy. :c First world problems.
Still don't get the point of 8k. Aren't most gamers more concerned about a higher & consistent FPS than a higher resolution at this point?
"customized ultra-fast, broadband SSD" ok, I don't really like how that is worded. "Customized." Is it going to be something that can be swapped out or is it proprietary? Is it going to have enough space for next gen gaming, like 1TB? Even the 500gb HDD in the PS4 isn't cutting it space-wise anymore but at least that can be replaced.
I can't see this being less than 500 and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
I'm interested, but I'm also set in my ways to the point where if I've never heard of the site before I'm probably not going to buy anything from them.
I'm a big person, I can't imagine two big people trying to play that.
But more seriously , this is weird. When I play co-op I never sit that close to player 2. Also, how would one even use this, get a standing desk and haul it in front of the TV every time one wants to play? Place it on a coffee table and sit on the floor, or hunch over if sitting on a couch. Try and sit it in one's lap?! Should have made it separate controllers maybe. Still, kinda neat, maybe since it has wifi they'll add more games at one point.
@jsprunk: PoE used to have three acts, and once the final boss was beat, one would start all over on a harder difficulty. Like D2, there were three difficulties. But since adding additional acts (there's now 10), that's not a thing anymore. After act 10, end game is running maps over and over, similar to running rifts on D3. Get better gear, run harder maps, repeat. Maybe there's more to it, I'm not sure, as I haven't really played much end game on PoE.
