If DA:I is anything like DA:O, it wins by default. 

What kind of GPU is it? If it's some cheapo GPU it might not be worth trying to fix it. Rather, just get a new one.

If it's a $200+ GPU, you can opt to replace the cooling system.

Take out the GPU and see if it powers on.

Doesn't matter. Whichever's cheaper.

I simply don't like the tiles that were designed for tablets in mind. Of course, you can mod it, but that's a pain that I could easily avoid with Win 7. Certainly an OS I'm happy with! :) I think it all breaks down to preference.

The mod literally took me 10 minutes to do. Win 8 is subtly better in every other aspect than Win 7.

I'd just get the 7850 since:

1. it doesnt use alot of power so you could get away with generic PSUs

2. cheap

3. plays pretty much everything nowadays
