Tru Life's "Tru York" intro, Jay Z just rambles over it and does some half ass rhyming/singing for 3 minutes. Somebody could have shut that beat down.

I have some faith in Detox coming out this year, everything seems to be coming together. Him giving us a sample of a song off the album should mean its close

In my opinion those lower production values are what made old school hiphop sound like old school hiphop so I have no problem with it.

If I was T Pain id be pissed about all this autotune nonsense, there isn't even any point in looking out for him anymore. Everyone and their grandma has hopped on the auto tune band wagon to the point where it isnt cool, different or experimental anymore.....just played out. I agree with Jay Z 110%

I dont think he'll redo beats hundreds of times but hes known to comb through the beats and add things numerous times.
