Hi everyone, just wondering is the SSD drives with the Sandforce-2281 are now stable ?? I know there is the latest revision 3.3.2 and im just wondering if it's now safe to buy SSD's with sandforce instead of Marvell controller.

By the way, i am asking because there is a deal online for a Mushkin Chronos Deluxe 240gb for 269$ and im thinking of pulling the trigger.

Also PC is : MB Gigabyte 790fx-ud5

CPU : Phenom II X4 965

Ram : 8gb G-skill DDR 3 1600

GPU : XFX radeon 5850 crossfire

Windows 7 64 bit

All i really need now is a better hard drive than a 5200 RPM .... sight ...

Hi everyone, this might sound like a stupid question to some but i have a small question about driver software for the mouse, keyboard and headset.

I have a logitech g110 keyboard, a diablo 3 mouse and headset. Now all three of these items have dirver software that needs to be installed to make modifications or customize. What I am wondering is do i have to leave these software running in the background on my windows all the time ? Should I set them to start at the Windows 7 startup ? And if so, are those small programs ressource hungry or it really doesn't affect much ?

I am asking because i like to keep my computer clean and I limit very much what programs opens at Startup.

Thanks for the help.

Hi everyone, im looking to buy a new monitor for pc gaming, web surfing and console gaming (ps3)

For Pc I rather 1920 x1200 but for consoles the resolution needs to be 1080p, so if the Monitor has 1920x1200, it also need to have 1:1 pixel mapping.

Now i can't decide between a :

VX2753mh-LED (TN panel) : ( or the 24 inch version)

http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktop-monitors/lcd/x-series/vx2753mh-led.htm (about 380 $)

It's been getting good reviews.

OR

Asus PA246Q (IPS panel) on sale on for 450$

http://ca.asus.com/en/Display/LCD_Monitors/PA246Q/#specifications

6ms response time grey to grey (ips... )

can't pull the trigger !!

Yes they feel pretty sturdy except for the retractable mic thats more flimsy. I have small doubts on the plastic that holds the ear cups but time will tell and also the 1 year warranty puts my heart at ease.

Got my pair at an EBGAMES in Gatineau Canada, so yes it is available in canada !

Haven't used the entire battery life on them yet but the manuel says it's 7.5 hours on average, but like i said, you can used them while charging ( same chord to charge dual shock * not included by the way)

Also, forgot to say, when playing PS3 games, the VIRTUAL surround sound works great, for everything else it's in normal Stereo ( music, PC, videos in the XMB, Bluray movies are all in normal stereo!) Knowing that, this headset is still well worth it !

Hi everyone, here is my mini review of the Official Sony Wireless Stereo Headset for ps3

http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/accessories/ps3-wireless-stereo-headset/91191

****and look 9/10 : I really like the look, it's very sleek and stylish, I kinda of enjoy that it looks like there are two mini ps2 on the sides lol. They seem to be very durable except for the mic wich can be set at 3 different position and it seems like it could be broken off pretty easily. However if you are carefull it should not be a problem.

Confort : 8/10 : I find them pretty confortable. The cups cover the ears completly and the headset is'nt too heavy for me. All in all, very comfortable.

Sound and Mic 9/10 : Now i own audio technicas ATH-AD700 and you know what, the sound quality is just as good in my opinion. Given i am no audiophile, but i have nothing to say about the audio quality. There is nice Base, mid and highs and there is no buzzing from the wireless receiver. I can walk atleast 20 feet away in the kitchen without losing connection or sound! Awesome !! I can also connect the Headset to my PC, it works perfectly ecept for one thing ( you can't adjust mic level on the PC, ive tested it and the sound level of the mic is already set to a perfect level, no real problem here! ) The sound quality of the mic is also way above what the Playstation eye does or the bluetooth headset i used to use.

Ease of use :10/10 So easy it's crazy, plug in and play !! There is a slider for sound volume, slider for game sound vs chat sound, and you can mute with a easy press on the top of the mini ps2 lol! For the PC all you have to do is plug the dongle, go to your playback devices and recording devices and changing the inputs! Again pretty easy when you know what your doing !! You can also use them while they are recharging!

All in all, i give these Official Sony Wireless Stereo Headset a 9/10! Sony has got a winner here ! And they have a 1 year warranty! WIN!

PS: I am french so any grammar or structure problems in my sentences are absolutly normal!!

Any questions ?

Hi guys!

first question :

1- I have my PC plugged to a panasonic 50inch 1080p HDTV with HDMI. I can get the picture to show on the TV but the size is not right. I then go to my CCC and ajust overscan but everytime I press apply, it goes back to the default size. Any help on gettting image on TV to fit nicely ?

Question two :

If a gaming keyboard has a USB2 plug on it, can i plug a logitech unifying receiver and have the receiver right next to the mouse really ? I am asking because my mouse is wireless and i would like to move away from the PC (hardware) to play on the couch with the HDTV.

Also, would you guys recommend the:

Obviously, being able to plug unifying receiver directly on the keyboard makes the difference!

Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110

or

Logitech Wireless K800 Illuminated Keyboad
