I am trying to narrow the games to no more than 3 (prefer two actually), but I have a list making it difficult to chose from. Here are the games I am interested: Batman Arkham City Battlefield 3 Gears of War 3 Uncharted 3 Halo Anniversary There are not in any particular order. But if you can choose top three in order of preference I will definitely appreciate it. In case you question, I do have both PS3 and Xbox 360, so exclusives are not an issue. Thanks in advance guys. An explanation of why would also be helpful :)

I'll be honest with you. The xbox 360 console on sale appears to be a discontinued version of the Xbox 360 (the 20 gb version). As much, the chip might be Falcon at most or a Xenon (Xenon Opus if fixed). I don't know what to tell you, but I think you should buy a new console which has the Jaspar chip (it is much more quieter and uses less power which makes it cheaper on the long run... lower bills). Plus, you have assured an HDMI port (since Xenon does not have) and usually refurbished consoles are in the most part trade-in consoles. I've added an url which explains all the chipped Xbox 360 versions so you can have a better look: http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=56521 Hope this helps

Actually, I would rent them too. The fact is I am interested in buying one and taking the advantage of the bonus offer (I know that they are not robust, although XMO seems like it). I'm more hyped up about batman though, but since video games usually fluctuate to really good to totally mediocre games, I would like to hear for opinions. Thanks for the posts so far!!!! :) Keep them coming!!!!

I have to add that the stories sort of add to the little that appears in Fable II. Some of the documents and books skimmed through history after the first Fable took place. This page just might add to those gamers who wanted to know more about the story. :)

I really enjoyed both Fable games even with their ups and downs, I consider them one of my favorite games of all time. In spite of that, the reading gives me a feeling that those are the same as the journals, documents and books we collect when playing (although these do not appear on the games released). I hope I'm wrong, but if it's true, I think that these can be readable in the game or, maybe the next game can be sort of like a chronicle or something.

I'm a real fan of both heroes and I'm pretty hyped about both games coming on June and May respectively. The thing is I can only purchase one, so I have to chose. Each game has a bonus offer in Gamestop, which makes this difficult since I will miss one of the special offers (and is really why I'm writing in the forum).

-Batman includes an exclusive in-game Villain and Challenge Map.

-X-men Origins unlocks Weapon X Arena that includes: Ladder challenge (kind of survival mode), custom combat arena (you pick who and how to fight, more or less), Environmental Simulator (use environment to aid your fights, basically) and, Dismemberment Room (mark different parts of the body and watch how they get dismembered when pressing the red button). There is a more extensive description on XO:W's bonus offer:

http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=73828

I don't know which one to pick. I love beat em up games, but I also like using strategy. Any suggestion would help. Thanks in advance.

Mine are in no particular order (I'm considering an overall judgement, plus hadn't been able to play Fallout 3 yet):

Fable 2

assassins creed

Resident Evil 5

I think that is not possible, since tvs cannot run resolution higher than the ones they are programmed to run. You can't make a 720p tv upscale to 1080p UNLESS it can run to 1080p. The fact is that the ps3 needs to upscale the game to the resolution... which is a whole other story that is not suited to a HDTV's capacity.
