It will probably be gears of war because, well, there isnt really a reason for giving it the award...except, maybe....oh yeah because of the graphics which is basically why the first one won goty, it should have been oblivion for it's gameplay and for it's ability to take away a lot of my life.
Graphics should be an after thought to sound. Its amazing how sound can really create an intense atmosphere e.g. silent hill and in my opinion that is more important than graphics but obviously that doesnt mean developers can slack off on the visuals.
First of all mate, no offence, but I found it a little difficult to follow you post and secondly, it will certainly be interesting to see what kind of response ms comes up with to combat that line up.
