So how is this exactly against my point? and exactly what claims have I made? I saidFighting games with story modes exist and they thrive... You've done nothing to disprove that... You just randomly challenged me in some attempt to "see if I can back up my claims"... What claims? Most of the things we know about street fighter come from manga or instruction manuals... Not actual store delivered in game...
@nini200 @jeremiah06 @Blazeingdragin I'm 25 years old... I've played street fighter since the arcade days... They've included character bits and alpha series had a bit of story but nothing like Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur... Street Fighter has character backgrounds and motivations but not a proper story...

@AK_the_Twilight @funkymonkey4710 People just understand the reasoning behind this better than you seem to... This isn't solely about ssb... It's Nintendo's overall stance on the lets play community... This is a new way for them to protest because the backlash from the cease and desist orders are too harsh to deal with... So they fold their arms like children and say they won't "do it at all"... I love ssb but I won't blindly agree with every asinine decision they come up with...
@funkymonkey4710 @jeremiah06 Thats just not true at all... If posting games online ruin the experience than there is no experience... Every game is online in some form... I haven't played The Last of Us or God Of War Ascension yet but I've not seen any spoilers... People saw ssbb online because they sought it out... They wanted to see the story and thats not a bad thing... It even sells games... I buy plenty of games after watching a few lets play episodes of them...
I do agree that Nintendo doesn't understand their player base though...
@Blazeingdragin Injustice, mortal kombat 9, all of the soul calibur games... Fighting games with story modes exist and they thrive... The worst thing about mvc and street fighter is the lack of any story/character development...
@trujilloforever I know right! Look at games like Heavy Rain... There wasn't any backlash of that being ruined and the game is 110% story... Nintendo needs to let it go and just make good games...
@funkymonkey4710 They're doing this because they hate "lets play" videos... Whenever they flag youtube or twitchtv videos for copyright reasons they get backlash from the community so now they're protesting by not making cutscenes to watch...

Somebody get this guy a reality check... Nintendo needs to grow up... People uploading game footage to the internet isn't going to die and protesting it by not making a story mode is just plain stupid...
