The original Mass Effect. Yeah it had some issues such as the graphical glitches and the combat wasn't the best. However the story and setting were absolutely amazing and allowed me to easily look past the small issues. No other game has come close to capturing the sense of wonderment and exploration I experienced on my first playthrough of the game. I have also replayed the game countless times and will continue to do so, I can't say that for many other games. I enjoyed the entire Mass Effect trilogy, but the first one is by far my favorite of the three and my favorite game of all time.

Yeah I'm definitely picking Mass Effect 3 over this.

From what I've played of the campaign so far I would say it's entertaining and is paced really well. The game looks really good too, I'm really digging the artistic look of the game. I wasn't sure what to expect from the multiplayer but after playing it I had a blast. Despite only having 2 different multiplayer modes (annihilation/seize ground) it's probably one of the funnest multiplayer games I've ever played.

There's 3 different types of loadouts to choose from and once you unlock the customizer at lv. 4 you can start customizing the look of your characters, weapon loadouts, and perks. Relic is also going to release a free coop horde type mode next month. I have no regrets at all of buying the game day one and I'm looking forward to putting more time into the multiplayer. I would definitely recommend buying the game.

neither, get the 4 gb slim for 200, buy a 60 gig hard drive for 50, insert it in your 4 gb xbox and you will have 65 gigs to use, all that for 250, then use the rest of your money to buy games.

right4dead

The old hard drives don't work with the slim 360s. The only hard drive they make for the slim right now is the 250 gb one which costs like $130 by itself.

I'm currently playing through Bioshock 2 and haven't finished it yet, so I can't really say how good the story is yet. However from what I've played of Bioshock 2 so far I would definitely say that the story was better for the first Bioshock. Storywise Bioshock 2 hasn't been able to grab me the way the 1st Bioshock did. Gameplay wise though I would have to go with Bioshock 2 over Bioshock due to the fact that you can dual wield plasmids and weapons. I also like how you can hack from a distance now instead of having to run right under a security camera or right up to a turret like in Bioshock. The hacking is also faster in Bioshock 2 with the needle minigame instead of putting those tubes together like in the first one which I was no fan of.

My problem is that they just keep coming out with another game EVERY year, it's getting to be real old, real quick. Just take a year or two off from putting these games out.

I agree, it seems like Activision wants to run this into the ground just like they did with the Guitar Hero games.

the thing is that the lite came out 2 years after the original ds. However, i dont remember how hyped the DS was because the psp was coming out around the same time as well. Anyway, if the 3DS lite comes out 2 years later, i dont mind getting the 3DS at launch cause 2 years is a decent amount of time. if only there was a surefire way to tell :(

Bringing out a second model is done to recreate interest in the system. Im not sure how the 3DS is gonna go in terms of popularity. If i remember correctly, the DS was sort of a bust until a while after it launched when it got a huge influx of games and really appealed to the average person. Since the 3DS is already establishing itself (thanks to having a true predecessor), i am curious to see how long it lasts before a second model comes out to boost sales.

Yeah it'll probably be awhile before they come out with a 3DS lite, but I'll be willing to wait it out.

[QUOTE="jbman11472"]

I honestly don't think it's worth $250 at launch, especially given that it's a portable gaming system. Personally I just can't justify paying $250 for a portable gaming system that always end up never getting as much attention from me as my home consoles do. Also in my opinoin the launch lineup is pretty weak. The games I'm interested in are coming at a later date such as Ocarina of Time, Starfox 64, and Mario Kart 3DS. I'm personally going to wait for the eventual 3DS lite along with a price drop.

AutoPilotOn

You really think there will be a price drop? The orginal DS only went up in price as new models came out.

I'm talking about the price drop that should occur when the 3DS lite comes out. Nintendo will probably price drop this 3DS once they come out with a 3DS lite or just stop producing them before the 3DS lite comes out. Either way I'm interested in a 3DS lite, not a price drop on this 3DS. The battery life is supposed to be pretty horrible on the 3DS so I'll wait for the 3DS lite which will have better battery life and probably a couple of other minor bells and whistles. It's inevitable that a 3DS lite will come out, I mean it's Nintendo were talking about here.
