Is tov coming to the us for the ps3, cause i own the 360 version and if all that extra stuff is being added i will happily trade this in and get that one.
I know this has probably been done before but I an just wondering, Which do you consider better? After reading the news of the hands on of the demo for final fantasy XIII, and getting ready to import it, i went back and started playing ff12 and ff10 and have to say 10 is better hands down. I personally believe tidus charcter is better than possible three forth the cast of twelve and the gameplay is better two. Yeah it is turn based and very fimiliar to past ffs but 12's is just terrible. I mean you basically have no control over your charcter all you do is move them, its like getting an art book half done already. Not to say that I did not enjoy 12 at all but it had to be my least favorite next to possibly ff4,ff5, and ff8. The story to me is of no intereset as at times it seems to congested, and while ten does not have the best story of them all it is by far to me the most interesting with political and religious corruption. On a scale of one through ten FFx gets a 9 and FFXII gets a 7.8. And before anybody points out FF8 or anything about FFXII being an ode to the older final fantasys, I started playing the FF series at FF7, then proceeded to go back and play the rest, and then later FF9 and hopefully some time soon FF13.
my main compliant is that i have a cousin who is a huge star ocean fan and he loved all three of them,not to mention waiting for the forth one. The minute they said it was coming out on the 360 he said it looked bad. now my cousin is not everyone in the world but a lot of gamers i now feel the same way about any rpg on the 360 and have not tried any of them and i am tired of it. its like not liking me because of my skin color, i am a great guy but how would you know it you don't get to know me. and with Valkyria chronicles i have played it and i think it is good about a 7 but not a 9 or a 10.
there has only been 2 timed exclusive jrpg so far and just look at the all the ps2 rpgs with good scores come on a lot of them sucked. Some where over rated example ff12 wild arms 3 and i can name some more.
